It was wonderful to meet Melissa, Trek and cutie pie Tryndin! We met up for our holiday mini-session in Gilbert and toured areound down town for our session. Tryndin was still sleepy from his nap a never really opened his eyes for me, which is too bad because he has beautiful eyes just like his mom and dad. Well, maybe next time he will be a little more alert and will let me capture his baby blues!

Bryce, Heather, and Wyatt {Mesa, AZ Family Photographer}
This family has also graced the pages of my blog several times in the last year or two and it is wonderful to see little Wyatt grow bigger and bigger, and oh so independent. This was also a holiday mini-session this year at The Mesa Art Center and at the end of this they braved the cold wet and had a little fun splashing around.
He loved watching the planes fly over head, he must want to be a pilot some day
Elkins Children {Arizona Childrens Photographer}
These two little balls of energy have been stars on my blog a couple times before and they are always fun to chase around and try and capture all the fun!! This was a holiday mini-session at The Mesa Art Center so of course there are lots of great places for the kids to play and take photos.
So here is the beautiful Jordan and adorable Trey

Amanda!! {Arizona Senior Photographer}
Amanda is yet another amazing woman I have known for many years through school. She recently contacted me wanting to do a portrait session that was fun and out-doorsy but could still have a bit of high fashion appeal and we determined that Granite Reef was just the place.
She's a natural. This is the very first frame taken!
She has some attitude too!
What a great smile!

Mallory's Mini-Session {Arizona Portrait Photographer}
Miss Mallory was the winner of the Brittany Hogan Photography fan page mini-session give away. For every 100 fans ("likes") that my fan page gets I will be doing a random drawing for one lucky local fan to have a free mini-session! If you want a chance to win, like my page and invite your friends to like it too and next drawing it may be you!! But back to the fabulous Mallory. The session definitely did not go the way we had planned but she was a great sport and trusted me that we could still get a fantastic session out of what we had to work with, and we did!! So here it is....
I'll start out with the one that is probably my session favorite.
I am so jealous of her crystal blue eyes! Stunning!!
It was great fun working with you Mallory and being able to do a little catching up. :)

Chad & Monica - Engaged!! {Tempe, AZ Engagement Photographer}
I love this couple to death, they are soo cute together!! And I have literally known Chad Forever! We grew up in the same church together and have had the same circle of friends for years. Then along came Monica.... and she just fit in, in every way. I know this couple will last and I can't wait to see whats in store for them in the future. (And as a bonus, I get to photograph their wedding in March!! Super excited! Its going to be gorgeous.)
The always stunning Miss Monica
Apparently Chad did something funny, but it made a cute picture.
The soon to be Mr. & Mrs.
This is one of my absolute favorite photos from this session. I love the sun rays coming through the mist.
Yes, I made them dance in the street. :)
And a little romance by the fireplace
And at the end of the session they were brave and played in the water fountain! And they turned out great!!
Congratulations Chad & Monica! I am thrilled to see Chad so happy with a wonderful woman. I look forward to your wedding in a few months.

Ernie & Beth's Wedding {Destination Wedding Photographer}
I am always very excited and a little extra nervous to photograph someones wedding that I know, this wedding was no exception. I had gone to school with Beth for what seems like forever (at least junior high and high school) and she is one of the sweetest most laidback people you will ever meet and Ernie is her perfect match in every way! Both of them are wonderful people inside and out and when you have such wonderful people coming together you are bound to have an emotion filled event. Though the day of the wedding did not go as planned (it was suppose to be an outdoor wedding but the weather and the Portland rain had other ideas) they both handled the situation with such grace and maturity. And even though it was not as planned, everything turned out perfectly.
The adorable flower girl decided all the petals had to be in exactly this spot. Who needs petals all the way down the aisle?
This photo was a request from the bridesmaids and always a crowd pleaser. :)
Yes Ernie, we see you carrying the bouquet. Thats ok, it looks good on you.
Mr & Mrs Aguilar
Beth's beautiful hazel eyes had an extra sparkle!
The stunning Mrs. Aguilar!! I love this photos of Beth, its so adorable!
All the toasts were full of fun memories and brought out lots of emotions from everyone including me. I don't cry at weddings but these brought a tear or two to my eyes.
This young man was a sure spit fire. He was a great little break dancer and had way more energy than was good for him, haha. But he did entertain everyone while they were eating.
Beth and Ernie had a beautiful first dance. You can't ignore the love they have for each other when you see them together.
Then the party begins
Ok girls don't concentrate too hard now. :)
Beth and Ernie your wedding, though with many last minute alterations, was absolutely beautiful! You two are wonderful and anyone would be hard pressed to find two greater people together. I wish you all the best in the many years to come!
